Leeanne Schmidt

Leeanne has had an extensive experience as a nurse working in acute, veteran and primary health care settings. Equity and access to health care for all are core values that underpin her professional practice. These factors have shaped her leadership and actions in both public health and humanitarian roles. Leeanne applies a diversity lens to nurture inclusion and culturally safe clinical supervision.
Leeanne completed Clinical Supervisor Training for Nurses and Midwives, Office of the Chief Nurse and Midwife, Queensland, and Supervision of Supervisors QC12 Queensland Centre for Mental Health Learning. Leeanne is currently leading the implementation of clinical supervision for nurses in her health service.
