I have a passion for working with people to unleash their true potential. I adopt a positive psychology approach, providing growth focussed clinical supervision for practitioners in private practice, NGO’s or Government agencies, including those with leadership responsibilities. I apply the four principles of good supervision: offering emotional presence and sensitivity. Valuing both vulnerability and competency. Offering knowledge and experience with humility. And developing a relationship to support continued personal and professional growth.
As an online service, I can offer both individual or small group supervision anywhere in Australia. Supervisees state that they feel heard supported and greatly benefit from my supervision. Telephone and Face to face clinical supervision is also available. My practice is based in the Sutherland Shire, south of Sydney.
I have a Bachelor of Social Worker and Masters of Social work (UNSW) academic qualifications, plus many years of professional development. I have over 36 years Clinical experience, working in the community, including 26 years as a University Counsellor, and clinical supervisor to generations of Social Worker students. I have been in Private Practice since 2003. I am a confidential widely experienced AMHSW supervisor, with expertise in areas including Mental Health Counselling, Medicare, Workcover, Tertiary Counselling, Workplace Conflict, Bullying, D/V, Career Developmnent, creating and maintaining a Private Practice, Wellbeing Planning, and preventing Burnout and vicarious traumatisation.
Currently focusing on providing excellence in clinical supervision to practitioners from a wide variety of backgrounds including Social Workers, PACFA accredited counsellors, ACA members, Allied Health workers working in WorkCover, Drug and Alcohol Counsellors, Chaplains and pastoral care workers.
