Angela Powell is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, clinical supervisor, educator, and organisational consultant with more than 30 years of experience across the human services, health, mental health, and higher education sectors in Australia and internationally. She is the Managing Director of Live Well Counselling & Consulting and co-author of the RREAL Supervision Model (2025), an evidence-informed framework that promotes reflective practice, resilience, ethical leadership, and workforce sustainability through professional supervision.

Angela has extensive experience providing clinical supervision, counselling, leadership coaching, and workforce development across community, health, trauma-response, and educational settings. Her areas of expertise include trauma, women’s health, sexual violence, vicarious trauma, compassion fatigue, workplace wellness, resilience, and  psychological safety.

Angela is also an internationally certified Compassion Fatigue Therapist and Educator and serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Aggression, Maltreatment & Trauma
(USA). She has taught social work and related disciplines at university level for more than two decades and remains committed to advancing supervision excellence,
reflective practice, and practitioner wellbeing across the helping professions.

As a member of the Australian Clinical Supervision Association team, Angela brings genuine passion, extensive clinical, supervisory, educational, and leadership expertise, together with a strong commitment to  strengthening professional supervision and supporting the development of resilient and ethical workforces.
