I have worked in cancer care for my entire career, since my undergraduate days, and understand the complexities of working with patients and families over a long period of time in a chronic health setting. In a role with a lot of autonomy (and complexity!) I am passionate about supporting and guiding those who feel this is lacking in their workplace. I’ve seen some distressing things in my career, and have become familiar with overwhelm, burnout, and isolation in my time. I found my way to Clinical Supervision several years ago and have become a passionate advocate for Clinical Supervision in nursing, which unfortunately still seems to be a relatively unknown but extremely powerful form of support for our profession. I am new to providing supervision and due to the limitations of my current role I am only able to provide online supervision at this time. I believe that in order for supervision to be effective, your supervisor must be the right fit for you. And I’d love to have a chat and see if I can be that for you.
Outside of my professional life, I am a voracious reader of fiction, almond croissant enthusiast, dog lover, homebody, inconsistent yogi and recovering people pleaser. I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend.
Trained in the role development model, Clinical Supervision Consultancy
Master of Nursing Science, University of Adelaide
Graduate Diploma of Oncology Nursing, University of Adelaide
Graduate Certificate Adolescent Health and Wellbeing, University of Melbourne
Bachelor of Nursing, University of South Australia
Experienced Cancer Nurse, specialising in the care of Adolescents and Young Adults
Passionate about supporting and mentoring nurses from all backgrounds!
