Matthew Crane is a social worker and Anglican priest with experience in parish ministry, the not-for-profit sector, higher education and secondary schools.  Matthew specialises in offering supervision to clergy and church workers, with over a decade of parish experience to draw upon.  Drawing upon experience in school settings, Matthew also offers supervision to teachers and those who work in school well-being.

Matthew is currently the College Social Worker at Monivae College Hamilton as well as a sessional academic and PhD student at Federation University.

Matthew’s doctoral research is a qualitative study of clergy and their understandings of vocation and how these understandings change when trauma, abuse, or abuse of power occur.

Matthew is available for supervision via online platforms, or face-to-face by arrangement.
