Dr. Debra Klages is a registered nurse and credentialed mental health nurse with 40 years of experience in Canada and Australia. She holds a PhD in mental health nursing and serves as a Research Fellow at the University of New England.
As an educator, Dr. Klages has led workshops on Clinical Supervision and the Restorative Resilience Model of Clinical Supervision. Her academic work has focused on understanding the experiences of health professionals who are mothers of adult children living with serious mental illnesses.
In her role as a supervisor, she aims to enhance the well-being of mental health professionals by integrating restorative resilience and strengths-based models of clinical supervision. Dr. Klages also conducts one-day workshops on the Restorative Resilience Model of Clinical Supervision, which has been endorsed by the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses.
