Julie is an educator of over 30 years experience across primary, secondary and tertiary settings. Her work has spanned diverse contexts and populations, from Kensington to Mt. Druitt (Greater Sydney, NSW), Port Moresby to Wewak (PNG), Wilcannia to Mudgee (Greater NSW). Her diverse roles have included consultant, academic, author, lecturer, and clinician.   She has spent extensive time in remote towns of New South Wales.She is  a practising psychologist with several decades of working with school leaders, teaching staff, children and young adults, and parents / carers, as well as providing clinical and collaborative supervision to allied health practitioners and educational leaders.Julie’s PhD is based in psychology, education and professional practices, especially in relation to ‘outside-of-the-box’ situations and settings including a wide range of people and experiences.​She’s a person who loves nature and its solitude, family and pets, a good book, a good laugh, and practising to paint and play the guitar.
