About Me

I have extensive experience in the helping professions. Initially trained as a Registered Nurse, I focused on working with adolescents across various settings: a specialized inpatient adolescent unit, an adolescent community health outreach service, and a youth crisis accommodation service. Additionally, I volunteered on a youth suicide prevention crisis line.

Subsequently, I pursued training and formation as a member of the Society of St Francis (SSF), an Anglican Religious Community. During my tenure with SSF, I engaged in pastoral missions to parishes and schools alongside fellow brothers. It was during this time that I discovered a passion for school chaplaincy. Motivated by this newfound calling, I completed studies in theology and education, eventually becoming an ordained priest in the Anglican Church and transitioning into full-time school chaplaincy.

In my role as Chaplain, I regularly engaged in both formal and informal pastoral conversations with students, parents, and staff. These conversations covered a wide range of issues, including relationships, mental health, sexuality, the meaning and purpose of life, adverse experiences related to church and religion, and issues of child abuse and neglect. These interactions prompted me to pursue formal studies in Counselling.

My journey has led me to a desire to impart my knowledge and support to fellow professionals in pastoral, counselling, and related fields. To this end, I have completed training in professional clinical supervision. I am confident that my diverse background, training, and extensive experience uniquely position me to assist fellow helping professionals in reflecting on their practice. My goal is to not only enhance their ability to provide effective and ethical care to clients but also to foster their professional growth and development.

I warmly welcome inquiries from professionals in various roles, including teachers, healthcare workers, chaplains, ministers of religion, youth workers, and pastoral carers. My aim is to provide a safe and reflective space where individuals can strive to become the best versions of themselves, both personally and professionally.
