About Me

Based in the Wollongong suburb of Unanderra, I am the Principal Clinician at Better Talk Counselling and Supervision and have a background in individual and family therapy, trauma support and professional standards practice. I have 20 years’ experience as a clinician and more than 10 as a clinical supervisor in both agency and private practice contexts. My clinical framework is grounded in Narrative Therapy and Transformative Learning and this also underpins my approach to supervision. I am also a trained pastoral supervisor and deliver supervision support to priests/ministers and lay people who work in a pastoral context in churches, schools and welfare organisations. I have long experience working with those harmed by abuse, and I am keenly interested in the development and application of excellent child safety and professional standards frameworks.
