With a strong foundation in developmental education and extensive leadership experience, I advocate for fostering inclusive practices and supporting individuals with a disability. As President of the Developmental Educators Australia Incorporated (DEAI) and a senior Developmental Educator at Aim to Thrive, I am passionate about advancing the developmental education sector and promoting neuro-affirming approaches within disability settings (including schools, workplaces and community housing.
My qualifications include a Master of Business Administration (Finance) and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Disability Studies), which, combined with my experience as a CEO of a not-for-profit organisation, position me to provide evidence-based, practical advice. I have significant experience working with individuals with a disability, collaborating with families, carers, and education teams to develop tailored learning and transition plans that foster belonging and connection.
In all my roles, I emphasise building trusted relationships, advocating for inclusive policies, and empowering key staff to create safe, supportive environments where individuals with a disability can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. I am committed to promoting systemic change and mentoring others to embrace inclusive, person-centred practices that reflect the values of equity and diversity.
Master of Business Administration (Finance), Bachelor of Applied Science (Disability Studies), and Sleep consulting
